sorry to hear about your engine!
out of curiosity, were the timing belt covers missing?
if you have the option at all, you might want to
consider doing the motor swap yourself. it's actually
one of the easier things to do on a milano! plus,
you'll be able to spend "labor money" on more
upgrades:)
n.b. whatever motor goes in, beware of the mechanical
detensioner. i know some folks have no problems, but i
could replace the t-belt at every oil change (i now
run a fixed unit) and not get anywhere near the cost
of my head rebuild.
