Fluke has a slightly different tool that I bought almost specifically for
using on English motorcycles. The model is T2 US. It is auto ranging, LEDs light
up if you have voltage, and it emits a tone if you have continuity, without
having to fiddle with a dial. They are somewhere around $40, a bit more
expensive than many inexpensive DMMs, but it's quite convenient to use upside down,
under a dash, when you don't have room for your hands, much less your arms.
