[alfa] RE: zippered top

Tony, yes I'm very happy with the top and the fabric selections they offer.
My original top was black and didn't go well with the desert climate so I
chose Stayfast driftwood - a beige. Ordered with padded quarters and hand
rolled edges - model WC549X. Five year warranty/materials-workmanship. The
zip down window has never let any water in during washing but has not been
in the rain but I have no reason to believe that it would leak. The top and
sides of the window where the zipper is have a nice overlapping detail with
the top material extending over the plastic. To be able to have the top up,
providing shelter from the sun, and have the window unzipped is great -
close to open air motoring, plenty of air and virtually no extra noise. I
had my top installed by a foreign car top shop for 225 USD. The top fits and
operates well. The top was 373 USD Feb. 02. By the way, the first top they
shipped me came with a fixed rear window. They paid for it's return and
shipped out the correct top within a couple of days without argument.

Are you happy with the quality of the top?
Does the zippered window seal out moisture?

Thanks,
