[alfa] Sport Sedan Window Rubber - Help!

My '79 Sport Sedan is finally mechanically sound enough to warrant a paint
job!  However, I wish to remove the front and rear windows to fix some minor
rust issues, and the only window rubbers I can find are some NOS units from
Alfa Parts for $140.00 apiece - not worth it for this car IMHO.

Anyone know of any alternative rubber, or a stellar glass shop in the Santa
Cruz area that could remove my glass while salvaging my old rubbers?  Or any
techniques I could employ myself?

Also, does anyone in my area happen to have a good Sport Sedan windshield
lying around?  I have yet another Sport Sedan with a good windshield, but the
car is a registered runner and I'm trying to avoid raping
it................c'mon you Alfetta pack rats, here's your chance to get that
windshield out of your backyard.

I want to get this thing painted asap....................any input on the
rubbers is appreciated.
