Asked the question before and am now at the 'which to insert' situation.
'79 2k engine, red or white / light gray rear crank seal?
Could absolutely swear some time ago a knowledgeable Digester made it
clear which color should go in which engine. I imagined it? I was the
only one to read it? Doesn't really matter?

I've been told that the brand "Corteco" is one that many like, for the
front crank seal it was black. My rear seal is a redish orange, and
I'm afraid a "Akron" which is not as well liked.. I had seated the
front badly, catching the edge and shearing up a layer of rubber, so I
deciced to replace it.. the same supplier sent me another that ended up
being another Akron, so I now have both a redish color.
