>I can explain "uf" - it is abbreviation for "micro farads". Farads (named for physicist Michael Farady) is the unit of measurement for capacitance. One whole farad is a huge amount so the capacitance of commonly used capacitors are measured in "one-millionth farad", aka "micro farad", with lower case Greek letter "mu" as abbreviation for "micro", the Greek letter "mu" looks sorta like a "u", so "u" is commonly used. Hence, "uf" = "micro farads".
