Hi Doug:

Vick sells the adjustable VR's, which are pretty slick, and a few less $ 
than the OEM.  I installed one in my '87 Spider and raised the voltage 
about 0.5 V (to 14.5) and it's really improved the operation of the 
ridiculous power windows.
