[alfa] 115 Spider - Shimmy

1989 Spider Veloce - 115 has intermittent sheering wheel shimmy at
various speeds between 45 mph and 52 mph.  More commonly occurs over
rough roads.  Shimmy (cowl shake and steering wheel shimmy) decreases
"smoothes-out" at increased speed.  (Tire balance? Flexible flyer
chassis? Worn pitman arm steering?)

Is there a known cause and is there a recommended cure for this
intermittent Italian two step?
