RE: [alfa] Clutch Replacement
Clutch-Clutch I've done it twice- First time 2 weekends- second- 1 weekend.
The most important thing is the transmission shaft bearing. If you don't replace it, if it moves in & out & up & down it will kill the new disc in 1000-2000 miles.
If the flywheel surface is smooth and straight, don't even touch it. Use a straight ruler to check it if it's warped but I doubted.
Leave the engine alone and drop the trans from below. 2 heavy duty and tall jack stand, a floor jack, 1 column jack (may be) and a person who can lift an 80lb trans laying down.
You can do it in a weekend.
The SACH disc got killed in the process- Now I have an OEM disc in it.
