Chris,
It's rare that a 25 year old radiator is not either internally clogged 
up or that the fins are not deteriorated or obstructed by an
accumulation
of dirt & bugs. Have your tanks refitted to a new core and you'll be set
for another 10 years, at least. After reinstalling the radiator, 
install window screening in front of it; the slight decrease in cooling
will be more than made up over time by keeping the fins clean.
