Currently, the only card I know that insures you is a gold or platinum Master Card. Amex and Visa will not. There are also some rental car comapnies that will not accept any credit card CDW program. This can be unreasonably expensive, costing up to the original cost of the rental.

>After a few checks I found Alfa's rented by Malone Car Rental. I-800-2290984 or www.malonecarrental.com. I'm envious! I want to get back there! We put 2000 miles on a Renault Laguna a few years back after reading Eddie Irvin's book Green races Red, My wife still reminds me of the two times I flopped back the left side mirror! Great roads. I kept my left hand on the shifter so I wouldn't try to shift the right door handle. Also round-a-bouts can be confusing! Have a great trip. Joseph Patrick Michael Kennedy Faherty NWARC
