RE: [alfa] Australian car history

If you know the VIN/chassis number, you could ring each of the road transport
agencies. They could then tell you if the vehicle was registered in that state.
The web site for each state's (and territory's) road authority is :-

ACT : http://www.urbanservices.act.gov.au/transroads/vehiclereglicence.html
NSW :	http://www.rta.nsw.gov.au/registration/index.html
NT :
http://www.nt.gov.au/ipe/dtw/aboutus/branches/transport/roadtransport/registrat
ion.shtml
QLD :	http://www.transport.qld.gov.au/qt/driver.nsf/index/registration_home
SA :	http://www.transport.sa.gov.au/registrations/
TAS :	http://www.transport.tas.gov.au/registration_information/index.html
VIC :	http://www.vicroads.vic.gov.au/
WA :	http://www.dpi.wa.gov.au/licensing/myvehicle/index.html

Hope this helps.

Tony
