RE: [alfa] Spider trunck release cable

Brian -

9 times out of 10 the cable breaks right at the release handle. Remove the
trim that houses the release lever, and you should be able to grab what's
left of the cable to open the trunk.

You can save yourself some work in replacing the cable, by only changing the
inner portion as long as the outer sheath is ok. Just feed the new cable
through the old sheath and reattach.

Jeff

Subject: [alfa] Spider trunck release cable

Well, it happened last night. My trunk release cable
broke. I know there is a trick to opening the trunk
that has been discussed here before. Would someone
fill me in.

Thanks,
Brian
