Yes, this works great. I can shift as fast as I can using this method. Only problem is that I end up doing this in every other manual car I drive.


Alfa boxes are what they are.  How about appreciating the rest of the car
and allowing these wonderful machines this small idiosyncrasy.
It's not an idiosyncrasy. Door handles that no one can figure out, are idiosyncrasies, power window switches on the roof console are idiosyncrasies, a lame 2nd gear shift that is easily solved by lightening the gears is a design flaw.

Don't worry, I still love my Alfas...
