GTV6 Transaxle Bumpstop

I recently replaced the front transaxle mounts on my gtv6 with the Milano version which are slightly taller. After bolting everything back together I realized that I had forgotten to adjust the bumpstop that attaches to the transmission tunnel and presses against the nose of the clutch cover and that the bumper on said stop was now firmly pinned against the transaxle. This caused WAY too much vibration during the test drive that followed so now the car is torn apart again.
If I remember correctly there is supposed to be a gap between the bumpstop and the transaxle, but I can't recall how much there should be. I have a vague recollection of seeing a spec for this in a repair manual at one time, but can't find it now. Does anyone know how much of a gap there should be between the bumpstop and the transaxle?

thanks in advance,
