The World Challenge series probably offers some of the best road racing going on in the U. S. right now. I work media relations with Robert Baxter/Roger Foo in Touring Car and really enjoy everything about the series except for the lack of awareness by the media. Additional manufacturer particpation might help this.

If news of other manufacturers and Alfa Romeo being interested in it are true it would only enhance an already great series. Touring Car racing is a favorite of mine and it comes directly from watching the 155s race in the BTCC in the early '90s.
