2.5 to 2.8 conversion

I am planning on modifying a 2.5 GTV6 engine, and I read that if you replace
the pistons and liners with those from a 3.0 liter Milano, it becomes 2.8 L.
Is there any modification other than this itself to make it work, for
instance to the ECU or injection?
