My dash on my 71 Berlina is mostly uncracked, and I was using some vinyl
conditioner (Meguiars I think) but will use Lexol based on Fred's
experience.  I cover my car at work out here in the high desert.  My Costco
car cover keeps out the sun, but it can still get warm in the car.  I also
put up a sun screen that the prior owner had in addition to block UV or
other rays the Costco cover does not.
