My suggestion works for a WARM start issue (or hot start).

If you now have cold start problems, you are talking about a completely 
different issue.  I would start looking for a bad thermal sensor, ignition 
coil control unit, fuel pressure problem (replace fuel filter!).  You 
definitely don't want to give throttle for a cold start on this car!
