ID Plates

Can anyone on the list advise me as to how the original ID plate appears on
a US 1750 Berlina? I believe that is an aluminum plate with black screen
printing. I also believe that it should say "Alfa Romeo" and also say
"105.71". Is there any other text? I know some cars identified the model
name as well, ex. GT Veloce.

Also, has anyone else done business with Barry Edmunds in Australia? He is
offering to make the ID plate for about $16 US dollars. ($25 aus), but he
wants to confirm the original text.

If anyone has a photo, even better. e-mail my at

With less than two weeks before Concorso Italiano, do you think I will get
it in time? ;-)
