backup light switch



I would check it by first measuring the voltage on the black/yellow wire at
the connector under the bell housing. It should be 12 volts with the
ignition turned on. If not, check wiring from fuse #6.
If you have volts at black/yellow wire, select reverse gear and you should
get 12 volts on the other (white?) wire. If so, then problem is in wiring to
lights. If you have volts on one wire, but none on the other when reverse is
selected, you have either a bad switch or a break in the wires between the
connectors and the switch.
