Re: source for 40W synthetic oil

Hi Tess:

I'm not aware of a straight-weight Mobil 1, but Redline does produce an SAE40 racing oil, which they list as having an equivalence to a multi-vis 15W40.

http://www.redlineoil.com/products.htm

Royal Purple also sells an SAE40 for street use, and a 41 weight racing oil.

Subject: source for 40W synthetic oil

I'm looking for a source for straight 40W synthetic engine oil. I'd prefer
Mobil 1, but at this point (not being able to find anything in the local
shops), I'd consider almost anything that is synthetic.

Do any of you know of a source for this, or an additive?
