Re: Alfa engines in aircraft?

I'd hate to have a timing belt fail at 15,000 feet. At least in the US, you'd only be able to use an engine like that in a home-built aircraft.

Subject: Alfa engines in aircraft?

The talk of Alfa engines in a marine environment reminded me:

I can't find the advert now [I searched some recent pilot magazines, but the
advert eludes me!], but I saw an aircraft for sale, with an Alfa (V6?)
engine.

Sign me up for that one!
