Extra Gauges

The engineering of the Spider is fascinating and generally thorough.

My 82 however does not have any indication of electrical issues, except 
when it stops and/or the red idiot light comes on.

I'd like to add an ammeter and voltmeter into the cockpit, but I can't find 
a logical place without it looking a) cheap b) unusable c) out of place d) 
in the way.

Has anyone put extra gauges somewhere?


Any suggestions very welcome.
