2600 Spider for sale

A friend just called me to see if I knew of anyone interested in buying
his '65 2600 Spider. I've not seen it, but took a few notes. Overall
quite nice and in good running condition. New Michelins. Disc brakes.
Was cream, now a dark metallic silver - which is a bit tired. Grill has
a few issues. The Solexes have been converted to Weber 45DCOE's. There
is no air box. Says he has $16.8k into it and needs to get close to that
amount.

If anyone is seriously serious, he's not far from me and I could check
it out.
