Damain,

    You may be in luck if you or your father have just a little more money
to spend.  My wife and I just talked last night and came to the conclusion
we are selling our pristine '73 GTV.  We bought this car so we could enjoy
something together, but she really dislikes the manual steering and thus
does not enjoy the car like I do.  This GTV is in truly wonderful condition
and the only problem is the second gear synchro which almost all Alfas
suffer.  The dash also has a crack like many do.  This GTV can be seen at

Recaro seats, Shankle headers, Euro cams, a beautiful Momo wheel, awesome
Cromodora wheels, and nice tires.  It has been slightly lowered, the
suspension is great, steering great, and handles extremely well.  IT COMES
WITH WORK RECEIPTS BACK TO WHEN IT WAS NEW.  It even comes with the original
window sticker framed.  I also have the original seats plus lots of extra
stuff; parts and books.  Last year, I bought an exact duplicate '73 GTV
parts car that looked like crap, but all the internals were fine.  I have
pulled the motor and tranny plus many trim items.  All of this is available
and will go with the car if the buyer wants it.  The spare tranny is
supposed to be in very good condition with no synchro problem.  The car
recently had the Spica and throttle system adjusted and it runs very nicely.
