Save a GTV from the scrapyard - Granada, Spain

Does anyone want to buy a pretty nice Alfetta GTV?
I passed by my favourite scrapyard a couple of days ago, looking for
some VW Golf bits - girlfriend's car. Anyway, as I was leaving I spied
the tail of an Alfetta GTV. According to the yard owner, the car arrived
there a week ago, after a short-circuit melted the wiring. I had a good
look at the car. It's a 1987 model 2 litre GTV (last year of production),
showing 91 thousand km, which is probably genuine judging by the interior,
which is velour in very good condition. The engine can't be started as the
main wiring loom is completely melted together - the reason the car's
there - but looks well cared for from visual inspection. The car has
air conditioning. The body is again very good, with almost no corrosion -
it has Granada plates so has probably been here all it's life. The only
spot I could find was a little patch of surface corrosion at the rear of
one of the front wheel arches. The bodywork is straight with no dents
or accident damage. The paint is original and in general very good, with
just a couple of small scrapes on the tops of the wheel arches (normal in
Spain...) It is a sort of metallic brown in colour, with
Fondmetal alloy wheels (I hadn't seen this make before; I presume they are
after market?). Anyway, if anyone wants it, the yard owner is looking for
around 1200 euros, for which he will throw in a second GTV that is wrecked
but has good wiring. I don't want to see a good Alfa wrecked, but I'd
prefer someone else to buy this as I already have too many cars and don't
have time or space in my garage for another!
