Spider Paint Q.

On my '87 Veloce, some of the clearcoat at thebaseof the a-pillars is flkedoff. 
I bought a small bottle of clearcoat(like you can find at Autozone) to make 
myself feel better. Questionis, what if anythingshould I do about this? If 
Ican/should use this little bottle, how should I go about applying it?
