albany ny aroc chapter

as some of you may know, i've been talking idly about trying to revive the
Albany NY based chapter of AROC, which has been idle for many years. last
year we went so far as to hold a modest picnic at our house in rensselaer
county.

i've taken a more concrete step now -- i've secured the domain name
aroc-ny.org (the old chapter was named that), and set up an electronic
mailing list.

if you are an alfa owner in eastern upstate NY (we used to have members as
far west as Auburn, NY, but that's really pretty far to go for a "local"
chapter), check out

and join the mailing list. if we're going to have a chapter around here
again, we need more than 2 people and a flag.
