91 Spider Auto transmission
I had 181,000 miles on mine when it went out, it had no leaks. I have 20,000
miles it since it was rebuilt and no leaks.
Where is it leaking from? If it's a rear seal this can be replaced with out
pulling the transmission. Check for leaks in the hoses going to the oil
cooler, the tube for the dipstick, the speedometer sending unit, the
reverse/neutral switch, the kick down cable and the pan. All of these can be
repaired without pulling the transmission.
I have a leaky tranny the shop has stated the best
process is to drop the tranny and replace all seals as
it appears there may be several leaks. Is there
anything else I should have done while tranny is out?
