Disco Volante at Auction (?!)

I received a brochure for Red Baron Auction 62 to be held June 7 and 8 in
Atlanta. The brochure includes a photo of what may or may not be a Disco
Volante and the following description: "AV1660. 1954 Alfa Romeo Disco
Volante. One of our buyers found this rare vehicle in a storage facility
while in Rome. It has a metal body. Call for details as it arrived at press
time."  Contact information is Red Baron Auction Hotline 404-252-3770;
http://www.redbaronsantiques.com/cars.htm

I'd be interested in hearing whether anyone knows anything about the Red Baron
car. I'm wondering whether it is most likely a replica like that at

(and waiting for a decent Super or Berlina to be available in Hawaii)
