RE: Tropic air was GTV6 condenser



George - 

There is (supposed to be) a micro switch behind the slider for the
temperature lever. IOW when the lever is moved to the full cold position
(all the way to the left I think?) the lever is supposed to close the
contact on the switch which turns on the other blower which forces the air
out of the side vents.

I don't remember if the switch is wired directly to the blower or if there
is a relay or anything else in there.

When the system is working properly, it will freeze you out of the car.

I do have Tropic Air and I have the side vents, but I'll be damned if I 
can get anything to come out of them! So, my AC freezes my right leg 
too!
