If you really want to improve the performance of your GTV-6's AC,
Tropic-Air or not, have your windows tinted.  The GTV-6 has a rather large
number of separate window panes, but a high quality tinting in LA was still
only around $170.  You'll be very surprised at how much cooler the
passenger compartment will stay.
