Chrome factory alloys
My advice would be strongly against chroming alloys. In my experience it's
not a matter of IF the chrome comes off, but WHEN. Brake dust and general
wear are brutal on chrome when it's on alloy. I'd either have them
polished ( if you like the mirror finish look ) or have them powder coated
( which is extremely scratch resistant and gives you a large range of color
options ) which holds up much better than paint.
Good luck 1
