RE: Zatmobile
I live in Minnesota, virtually next door to Tom's hide out known as Alfa
Heaven. I have seen the Zatmobile many times, both in Wisconsin and at the
track in Brainerd, MN. The two cars in the photos are not the same. The
differences are subtle, to be sure, but they are differences nonetheless.
The most obvious difference cannot be seen in these photos: Zat's car is
tube frame. In the photos on ebay it is easy to see that the darker red car
is not tubed. Further, Tom's car is painted a different red (though,
admittedly, colors can be changed). Finally, the photos on ebay clearly
show an original Alfa 1600 twin cam power plant. Zatmobiles were designed
around V6 power. In fact, Tom used 3.0 liter motors in his cars.
Last, but not least, look at Zat's own photos of his own cars:

Click through to the Spotter's Guide page. You will learn that Prototypes
one and three, which were built on Guilia Sprint chassis are at Alfa Heaven,
while numbers two and four were destroyed.
In the original build up Zat played with a real SSZ. The car in the photos
may, indeed, be that car. But that makes it a prototype for a Stradale, not
for an SSZ. This would explain the mods.
The only way to get the definitive word is to ask Tom hisownself.
