74 GTV alignment help !!

Greetings Alfisti !

I just got my 74 GTV aligned yesterday after a full suspension rebuild/upgrade.

Here are the mods: Rugh springs, Bilstein shocks, poly bushings and adjustable upper arms, battery in trunk on shelf between rear shock towers and slightly offset to the right. Tires are Kumho Supra 712 size 195/55-15 on 15 x 6 Panasports.

Steering box is a little worn but has been tightened.

Here are the alignment specs ( per article by Tom Sahines ): 1/2 degree neg. camber, 2 degrees positive caster ( with 1/4 degree offset for road crown ). 1/16" toe-in.

The car drives like this: Tracks straight but when the wheel is turned a little ( after taking up a little slop ) the car only turns a little with some resistance. When the wheel is turned a little more the car dives in and wants to oversteer. Is there not enough toe-in ? My Duetto has same alignment but with 1/8" toe-in and it is dead neutral.

Any help would be appreciated.

Dan
