Gil,

Nice work, it looks really good! 
One question, {LEDs use 2 orders of magnitude less current that incandescent
bulbs},
did you have to get a different flasher unit to make them flash slow enough
so that the human eye could detect it? (you know how when a bulb goes out
the difference in current makes things flash really fast?)
This is like both bulbs going out. Perhaps the lamps have a dummy load
installed to simulate bulb current?Just wondering.

BTW: 18 gauge sheet steel (straight line finish, zinc plated)is .047, 14
gauge is .062, .007 is the stuff they wrap Nestle's Crunch in. You must have
had some thick 14 gauge.
