RE: alfa-digest V9 #458

I did mine via the engine compartment with a long length of clear
plastic hose I got from Home depot. It helps to have a 14 year old son
to crawl underneath and keep the hose in place while you wait for the
oil to ssslllloooowwwwlllllyyyy find its way down. Be sure that the car
is level when you do this or you'll be smelling burning tranny oil for a
month. (as the saying goes "ask me how I know")

The easy way to add oil to the transmission is to pour it down
the
shift tower. You have to remove the rubber boots and the shift lever
and the
metal plates on top. Oh, you have a street car? Then I guess the whole

console might be in the road too. Strange, this trick always works in
my
race car...
