A screwdriver probably won't move it.  But it will damage it (as will a
pickle fork)!

Use a screw type balljoint separator if you want to reuse the part and your
knuckles.

I've carried out the lowering job on a few Alfettas without removing the
steering arm joint or removing the A-arm.  But I think I've been lucky as
the splines weren't corroded and the Tbars slipped in and out rather easily.
It also helps if the A-arm isn't spaced out severely for camber.

Mark everything before you start and try it without disconnecting the
balljoint or A-arm.  The damper will of course need to be freed at the
bottom.  If it works............. good.  If not, you've lost a few minutes
and need to pull everything apart.

Get a wheel alignment once the job is done.
