76 spider electric fuel pump replacement. Pump leaked at the base of the electric connection

I replaced the electric fuel pump since it was leaking at the base of the
electric connection.(strange?). I installed a used one I have, now I get a
low fuel pressure light. The filter is was replaced about 200 miles ago, new
hoses, I ran the engine for about a 30 seconds. What is the pressure outlet
I should see.

I disassembled the old one to see the source of the leak but could not get
to that section of the pump (where the electrical connections are). Can this
section be accessed or repaired?I have Branden's , Ingrams notes, other tech
books but there is very little on this fuel pump as far as tech info.

Also, any ideas on specs of the pump, prices or if there is an equivalent
pump if the originals are no longer available.

Thanks

Alex
