GTV clutch master cyl. replacement

Are there any tricks I should be aware of when replacing the
clutch master cylinder in my '74 GTV this week? I replaced
the slave and flex hose last fall before I put it up for the
winter, so of course it was no surprise when I got it out in
the spring and the master started leaking. I'll bench bleed
the MC before installing, and I have a helper lined up for
the final system bleed- anything else I need to know? The
job looks pretty straightforward, but this is usually my
best clue that it's about to be a wicked pisser. Any tips
are most appreciated.
