74 GTV Turn Signal Levers

Hi cats,

Can someone tell me how to remove the turn signal levers
from a 74 GTV, please? 

I removed the lower steering column shroud and see a few
allen head bolts in there, but didn't want to get too much into
it yet, in case I have to remove the steering wheel. Do I?
How does the upper shroud come off, too? I can't seem to
get that off, as well.

My turn signal lever has a visible crack where the metal
shaft attaches to the plastic base. If I remove it I should
be able to epoxy it and it won't be so wobbly. There seems
to be other things contributing to the wobbliness, so I
want to inspect the construction of this piece.
