'85 Spider ECU problem? Follow-up w/part #'s etc...
FYI,
The '85 with VVT solenoid and the supposedly failed ECU and the '84 w/o VVT
solenoid BOTH have Bosch ECU # 0 280 000 221, the 'late' model according to
Michael at APE's posting below.
Whether or not the ECU in the '84 is a replacement or not I don't know. Either
way, the 'failed' ECU from the '85 works perfectly in the '84 so it looks like
I'm troubleshooting in the wrong direction.
Thanks for everyone's input! I'll let you know when I make some progress!
