Andrew,
I just saw a Deltic engine a few weeks ago at the National Railway
Museum in York, England (very worthwhile if you like railroads). It
definitely does not fit in an Alfa. It's a triangular boxer: pairs of
the three 6 cyls banks share a crankshaft at each "corner". Interesting
