91 Air Cond compressor

Does anyone know if these units can be rebuilt or a
resonable source for new. i have a 91 spider auto which
the previous owner converted to 134 shortly before i
acquired it. It was cold for about two weeks, then
nothing, the shop i took it to stated the compressor
was leaking and needing replacement.
