How do you get those side accents off...?

I'd like to repaint my faded black side accent stripes but can't figure out
how to get them off. Any ideas?
Also, the drivers window is squeaking unbearably when it goes up and down and
I'd Like to put some wax on it but don't know if I can get to it short of
taking the door apart. Any ideas for this one also?
