coolant smell

I am getting a coolant smell in the car when stopped at a red light for a
prolonged period of time. Seems to be only when the car is warm, and most
notably when the engine fans kick on. There are no visible leaks, and if the
stop is brief, no coolant smell. I have inspected all hoses, and replaced
any suspect hoses. The car has a new overflow tank and cap. Everything seems
fine. I have run the car with the hood open and see no pinhole leaks either.
Anyone have any ideas?
