I think that's revisionist history, but oh well.  The key thing to wrap your
head around is not whether you agree or disagree with where our county is
going.  The question to ask is, do you believe that if you disagree the
administration would heed your concerns?  Well, that's been answered -- "if
you're not with us, you're a 'focus group'". . .

The sad thing about "our current politics" is the people who are now tasked
with serving the people and setting our domestic and international policy
have told us all to kiss off, they feel no compulsion to listen to any voice
that differs from their agenda.  It ain't about right or left, it's about
abuse of power.  It's not democracy, it's oligarchy.  The last oligarch
named George that treated the people of this country with so little regard
got a spectacular lesson in humility.  Might be time for history to be
repeated, not revised.
