Doug S believes that because the new Alfas (read Autodelta 166) are fwd, he
would choose the g35.
To which I answer: 1, it's obviously a matter of taste (and I guess
principle), and
2, when I saw the 166 in *the flesh*, the thing is so stunningly beautiful,
that I am willing to forget it's a fwd car. This is not just a nice car,
which could be said of many 164s. This one belongs to the hall of fame.
Remember, its a large 4 door sedan, not a track/street performance car. I
could live with the wrong wheel drive on this one. I would not buy it for
two reason mainly: I don't have the money and for me it's a larger car that
I would care to drive every day.
So I will reiterate my 1st statement. From the aesthetic point of view,
this is the most beautiful production 4 door sedan currently in the States,
bar none.
