Great (Exhaust ) Ideas - No Stebro Content

OK, Digesti with a exhaust tail to tell, here's your chance. 

I would like to hear about exhaust solutions that other than Stebro, Ansa, et alia.  Occasionally, I see posts from folks such as Erik in Ann Arbor who has used a local shop with good results.  Problem is, all solutions are local.  Now, assuming that the supply chain for exhaust components has only a few branches at manufacturing level, all those local custom solutions should share some underlying commonality.  

So,  can anyone remember what "generic" or "universal" glass pak or such was used to get their 164 or spyder to make that wonderful sound?  

I have to replace the center muffler on my 164L and would like to find a great sounding but reasonably priced solution.

PS.  Actually, I love the sound the L makes now with a hole in the muffler.
